“I’m proud to have been making wines in Washington for over 20 years. That experience—walking the vineyards, working the barrel rooms, and often ignoring the naysayers—has shaped me as a winemaker. Headturner is a chance to express my craft and my style, through the lens of this landscape I am so connected to.

For me, winemaking is intimate, hands-on work. You’ve got to dig in the dirt, talk to the farmers and listen to your senses. I’ve poured all my experience into these bottles, sourcing grapes I know, from blocks I love, and tailoring the production to accentuate the nuances of each region and each variety.

My goal is to create wines that are unapologetic expressions of the places that produce them, representing everything I love about Washington wine.”
